2024/09/19, CIAHSC Researcher, Zianna Hodges (URA) won  1st place in the student poster competition at the ASSP Region 6 PDC – Virginia Beach, VA. Dr. Alesia Ferguson is the faculty mentor.

2024/09/14, CIAHSC Director Dr. Jiang and his students won 1st Place at the 2024 AAAS HBCU Marking and Innovation Showcase in Washington, D.C

2024/05/23  CIAHSC Director Dr. Jiang organized a special issue "Artificial Intelligence in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC): Present Status, Opportunities and Future Challenges" to call for high-quality review papers from the fields of Virtual Design and Construction research and practices. 

2024/04/11    CIAHSC Director Dr. Jiang and CIAHSC Researcher Dr. Yong Bai won the ASCE Journal of Architectural Engineering Best Paper Award, "Scan4Façade: Automated As-Is Façade Modeling of Historic High-Rise Buildings Using Drones and AI."  One of the research activities at CIAHSC was featured in this award. 

2024/04/03  CIAHSC Director Dr. Jiang has been named NC A&T’s 2024 Rookie Researcher of the Year.
